Communitere : Building a Resource Center for Nepal

Communitere International is an innovative non-profit organisation, pioneering an international model for sustainable disaster recovery.  Communitere creates dynamic, collaborative hubs in affected communities that make a powerful impact by giving individuals the means to become self-reliant.

Commuintere's proven grassroots approach involves an active, experienced, on-the-ground presence with a focus on providing the resources, processes and tools required to empower local communities to take an active role in the renewal of their own community. In addition, Communitere aim to bridge the gap between individuals who are willing to help and organisations that can effect change. Central to that commitment is the notion that communication, information and strategic partnerships are vital to effective emergency response, recovery and renewal of affected communities.

Arts, Performance & Nepalese Buffet

Sunday 29th November 2015

6pm - 9pm Ganges & Gurkha Restaurant

Programme

The fundraising evening starts with a buffet served at 6pm and performances commencing at 7pm.  Performances include Middle Eastern Dance, African Drumming, a Dance Ritual By Moving Prayer and Walk The Talk Original Folk World Feel.  There will also be a selection of art prints available for donations.

Bookings

Tickets are £15 per person and include Nepalese buffet and performances (drinks are not included).

Limited places are available on a pre-booking basis only with a £5 non-refundable deposit.

Donations

African Drumming Performance

African Drumming performance from 11am until 1pm to raise funds for Nepal Communitere.
